Liquor License Revoked From OC Business That Served To Teen Before Deadly Crash

The business had its liquor license temporarily revoked after serving drinks to an 18-year-old who was involved in a deadly crash in LA.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — An Orange County bar and restaurant had its liquor license temporarily blocked after a server gave drinks to an 18-year-old who was later involved in a crash that killed another teenager in 2021, the Orange County Register reported.

An Investigator from the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control told the OC Register that a server at Culichi Town's Santa Ana location gave drinks to 18-year-old Jose Clemente on the night of Nov. 12, 2021.

Early the next morning, investigators said Clemente got behind the wheel of a car traveling eastbound on the 105 freeway and at 5:50 a.m., his car crashed near the Long Beach Boulevard exit.

Two other vehicles were involved in the crash, the report said. There were six people in Clemente's car, including the 18-year-old. A passenger, 18-year-old Osiris Servin, was killed as a result of the crash.
