Man Charged In 'Suspicious' Death Of Huntington Beach Woman
A 34-year-old man was arrested Sunday and charged with killing a woman in Huntington Beach.
ORANGE COUNTY, CA — A 34-year-old man was charged Tuesday with killing a woman in Huntington Beach.
Antonio Padilla was charged with a single count of murder and was scheduled to be arraigned sometime Tuesday, City News Service reported. Padilla, who is being held without bail, listed his occupation as cook, according to jail records.
Police were called about 3 p.m. Saturday to a residence in the 7800 block of Slater Avenue regarding "suspicious circumstances," according to Jessica Cuchilla, a spokeswoman for the Huntington Beach Police Department.

Police found the body of the woman in the residence. Her name was not immediately released pending next-of-kin notification.
Padilla was arrested Sunday.
