Man Fatally Wounded In Car In Orange County

SANTA ANA, CA — A man was found shot in the head inside a car Saturday in Santa Ana Saturday and died at a hospital.

The shooting occurred around 7:50 a.m. Saturday at 1105 S. Townsend St., near West Lingan Lane, according to Santa Ana Police Department Officer Natalie Garcia.

The victim found in the driver's seat of the sedan was identified as 23-year-old Christopher Michael Abarca of Santa Ana, police said.

"Suspect is still outstanding," Garcia told City News Service. A description of that suspect was not disclosed, neither was a possible motive.
