Man Groped Child In Knott's Soak City Wave Pool, Police Say
The incident apparently took place while the child was at summer camp, the Buena Park Police Department reported.
BUENA PARK, CA — A Los Angeles County man was arrested for groping a child at Knott's Soak City water park last month, the Buena Park Police Department reported.
44-year-old Daniel Alvarez, of Norwalk, was at the park on July 25 when a child "felt the suspect grabbing him/her from behind" while in the wave pool, the department said in a news release.
According to the statement, Alvarez touched the child in "his/her private area," and staffers told police that he was also accused of "taking photos of minors" by others in the park.
