Man Shot By Police In OC During 'Domestic Disturbance'
A 33-year-old man was shot by police in Anaheim during a conflict with officers Monday, Sept. 16.
ANAHEIM, CA — A 33-year-old man was shot by police in Anaheim during a conflict with officers on suspicion of assault, resisting arrest and violating parole.
James Brasher was shot during a confrontation with officers who responded to a domestic dispute at around 8 p.m. Monday in the 700 block of West Santa Ana Street, according to the Anaheim Police Department.
Brasher was moved to a local hospital and, after he was released several hours later, was booked on suspicion of felony aggravated assault, resisting police by force of violence and violating a court order and parole, police said.
