Man Who Molested 2 Girls At OC Boys & Girls Club Arrested, Police Say

GARDEN GROVE, CA — A 29-year-old man was arrested Friday on suspicion of molesting two girls while he was employed at a Boys & Girls Club in Garden Grove a decade ago, authorities said.

Elijah Domminic Barrera is accused of molesting one girl when she was between 7 or 8 and another when she was about 6 in August of 2014, the Garden Grove Police Department reported.

According to police, Barrera was employed at the Boys & Girls Club located on 9860 Larson in Garden Grove.

Barrera was arrested after one of the accusers contacted police in March of last year. While police investigated her allegations, police made contact with another girl who also said she was molested by the suspect, police said.

He was arrested just after noon Friday in the City of Orange and booked on suspicion of two counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a child.
