According to a Fullerton Police Department news release, authorities currently believe that the BMW was driving southbound in the number one lane when it slammed the rear of the Toyota Rav 4, which was stopped at a red light. The BMW then hit the Chevrolet Silverado on the driver's side, which was also stopped at the same red light in the number two lane.
Two people involved in the crash were moved to local hospitals, including a 22-year-old resident of Anaheim and a 25-year-old resident of Anaheim. The driver of the Chevrolet, an 18-year-old resident of Fullerton, was treated and released on scene.
"The BMW driver's speed and the use of alcohol and/or drugs are all factors under investigation as possible contributors to the cause of the collision," the FPD said in a news release.
