In-N-Out Managers Make Over $200K On Average: Report

The company's ethos regarding above-market pay also extends to entry-level positions, according to Inc.

In-N-Out store managers earn over $200,000 per year on average, Inc. recently reported.

That’s a significant jump from the $163,000 that managers at the Irvine-based company made — plus profit-sharing — on average in 2018, Forbes reported at the time. It is also drastically higher than the current average base salary of a California fast food manager, which is $68,774, according to Indeed.

“Our founders, Harry and Esther Snyder, believed not only in taking great care of our customers, but also in taking really great care of our associates,” an In-N-Out spokesperson told Inc. “Their philosophy was to treat associates like family and strive to be an outstanding employer, and paying higher-than-normal wages was one important part of that philosophy.”
