NBA Legend Surprises Group Trapped On Elevator In Orange County
OC firefighters rescued an elevator full of people Monday under the watchful eyes of NBA former basketball player Shaquille O'Neal.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Orange County firefighters hard at work rescuing residents from a stuck elevator this week were cheered on by a very famous bystander.
National Basketball Association legend and sports analyst Shaquille O'Neal made a surprise appearance Monday evening while firefighters were working to get the occupants out of the elevator.
"Thanks to countless hours of training and experience, firefighters were able to skillfully and safely get the occupants out," an OCFA news release said. "All the while, a very famous and concerned citizen looked on in appreciation of their work — but ready to sub in if we needed his help."

This isn't the first elevator O'Neal has been spotted on. In 2019, O'Neal told Inside The NBA that he met Stevie Wonder on an elevator and speculated whether or not the famous musician was actually blind.
In 2017, he additionally participated in an elevator interview conducted by The Wall Street Journal.
