New Gourmet Spot In Orange County Features Churros, Gelato

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Foodies of Orange County, rejoice. A new eating experience is coming to your community. Churriño Gourmet Churros & Gelato is hosting a grand opening celebration of their second Southern California store Dec. 4, and Orange County residents are invited to come and participate in the fun.

The grand opening will feature DJ entertainment, special promotions and giveaways. This Churriño location will be the first-ever in Orange County, located within the Collage culinary experience at South Coast Plaza.

Brazil native Nicolas Silva and Burma native Kelvin Tan founded Churriño with a dream of bringing the authentic flavors of Brazilian and Latin desserts to the United States. Churriño Gourmet Dessert was born in 2017 with a starting location in Long Beach opening in 2019.

Churriño offers guests the opportunity to invent their own churro fantasy with their "Build Your Own Churro" menu. For the holidays, Churriño is introducing the S'more Red Velvet Churros, S'more Red Velvet Churroccino, Biscoff Latte Churroccino and Hot Chocolate.

"We are so grateful for the opportunity to share our passion for desserts, as well as our culture with the Orange County community," Silva said in a statement. "With a wide variety of irresistible ingredients, we look forward to seeing how our OC guests customize their treats for an unforgettably sweet experience."

To help celebrate the grand opening, Churriño will hold a raffle giveaway. A Nespresso machine will be gifted to the grand prize winner and $50 gift cards will be awarded to second and third prize winners.

To participate in the festivities, guests must make a Churriño purchase on Dec. 4 and deposit their receipt into the in-store ticket urn. Guests who RSVP in advance will receive 25 percent off of their in-store purchase on Dec. 4.
