OC Firefighters Stop Ammonia Leak In Buena Park Tuesday

The hazardous leak was reported at around 3 a.m. Tuesday morning in the 6600 block of Caballero Boulevard.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Orange County firefighters stopped a hazardous ammonia leak in Buena Park early Tuesday morning, the Orange County Fire Authority reported.

Firefighters were called to the scene at a bottling facility in the 6600 block of Caballero Boulevard at around 3 a.m. Tuesday morning.

The leak was located by the Orange County Fire Authority's Hazardous Materials team and was shortly contained.

"There were no injuries reported and no threat to surrounding businesses," an OCFA spokesperson said. "No homes were impacted as the incident was in an industrial area."
