OC Girl Gives Back To Firefighters Through Hard Work, Can Collecting

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — No matter how old or how tall, someone can make a difference in their community. One Yorba Linda girl made that point clear, after she worked tirelessly for the second year in a row to create care packages for the fire stations and police officers in her community.

10-year-old Sydney collected cans throughout the year, recycled them, and decided to help others with her earnings by the crafting care packages and gifting them out to firefighters and police officers in Yorba Linda.

"Sydney, thanks for the thoughtful gesture — but most importantly, thank you for being a leader in your community and being a role model for so many," the Orange County Fire Authority said on Facebook.
