OC Man Who Won $44M Lottery Yet To Receive Payout: Report
An Orange County man who said he won the $44 million Powerball jackpot said that weeks after winning, he still hasn't seen a cent.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — An Orange County man who claimed he won a $44 million Powerball jackpot said that weeks later, he still hasn't seen a cent, ABC 7 reported.
Lottery enthusiast and Orange County resident Jerry — who was not identified by last name —purchased his winning ticket at his neighborhood Ralphs using some of his favorite numbers, the report said.
All five numbers, including the 10 he chose as the Powerball, were called. However, more than nine weeks later, Jerry still has not been paid.

"The process is really horrible for a winner of a big... any big lotto winnings," he told ABC 7. "They won't tell you by this date, you'll get the funds. They won't tell you that. They leave it open-ended so you're sitting, waiting daily... (hoping you're going to get these funds.)"
