OCTA Free This New Year's Eve: Ride Safely Into 2022
The Orange County Transportation Authority is providing safe rides for those celebrating the new year with free fares on all OC Busses.
ORANGE COUNTY, CA β Are you looking to ring in the new year, but are in desperate need for a designated driver? Look no further. The Orange County Transportation Authority is providing safe rides for those celebrating the new year with free fares on all OC Busses from 6 p.m. New Year's Eve to 2:30 a.m. Saturday, New Year's Day.
The free service includes bus routes that operate near Downtown Fullerton, Disneyland, Knottβs Berry Farm and more. Residents should be advised prior to boarding that the free fare is only available past 6 p.m., and riders are asked to wear face masks and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
The free bus rides have historically been offered by OCTA for dozens of years. Last year, the service was halted due to COVID-19 concerns and pandemic restrictions.
