Olympic Skating Champion To Make OC Appearance

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — A globally-known Olympic and World figure skater will grace the ice at the Honda Center this May.

World figure skating champion Alysa Liu will headline a Stars on Ice performance with seven Olympic gold medalists at the Honda Center on May 16.

Twenty-year-old Lia became the first American woman to win the Olympic gold medal in almost a quarter-century after she won the gold medal at the Milano Cortina Games last month.

The Stars on Ice confirmation comes two days after Liu announced that she was withdrawing from the World Figure Skating Championships later this month in Prague.

The skating star has been on a slew of late-night talk and morning show tours since the Olympics, and this week she appeared as a special guest at the Louis Vuitton show during Paris Fashion Week.

The star-studded Stars on Ice show will include performances from Olympic gold medalists Madison Chock and Evan Bates, Olympic gold medalist Ilya Malinin and more.
