Segoviano was arrested on July 19 at his Anaheim business, which is within the Phenix Salon Suites, located at 935 S. Brookhurst St. According to the district attorney's office, Segoviano used several social media platforms such as Facebook and Tiktok to promote his services to potential clients.
He also used various aliases, including "Dr. Elias," "Dr. Elias Renteria M.D." and used "ELIASMD" on his car's license plate.
Authorities believe Segoviano used other locations for his unlawful medical practice since 2019. According to the district attorney's office, he used several different business names for his practice, including "Botox in Anaheim," "Botox in Anaheim - Health and Beauty," "Neurotoxina Botulinica - Massage Service," "Threads in Anaheim," "Threads La Habra" and "OC Threads, Botox & Fillers."
Authorities asked anyone with information regarding Segoviano to report their information to the Orange County District Attorney's Bureau of Investigation by calling 714-834-6538.
