Pedestrian, 58, Killed In Huntington Beach Crash
The man was found unconscious on the roadway and was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital, police said.
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — A Toyota Camry driven by a 68-year-old Huntington Beach man hit and killed a pedestrian on Sunday, Feb. 22, police said.
Huntington Beach Police officers were called to the scene on Beach Boulevard and Williams Drive at around 6:30 p.m. in response to a call about a white Toyota Camry and a pedestrian.
Upon arrival, officers found a 58-year-old man unconscious in the roadway. He was taken to a nearby hospital and later pronounced dead. His identity was not known.

The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators, with officers saying that impairment did not appear to be a factor in the crash.
According to investigators, the Toyota Camry was traveling southbound on Beach Boulevard and struck the pedestrian north of the intersection near Williams Drive.
