Pedestrian Seriously Injured In Orange County Hit-And-Run

ANAHEIM, CA -- A pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit-and-run Saturday evening in Anaheim, police said. A car struck the pedestrian and kept on driving about 10:30 p.m. on Brookhurst Street south of Katella Avenue, where the northbound lanes are expected to be closed for several hours, according to Anaheim police.

The pedestrian sustained serious injuries, police reported.

Investigators were trying to track down the vehicle, which witnesses said was a silver Honda that lost its side-view mirror during the incident.

Anyone with information was urged to contact police or submit tips to Crime Stoppers.
