Person Dies After Threatening To Jump Off OC Freeway Overpass

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — A person threatening to jump off a Santa Ana freeway overpass died Sunday after either jumping or falling.

The death happened on the Santa Ana (5) Freeway at Grand Avenue around 3:55 p.m. Sunday, according to the California Highway Patrol.

There was no word on the person's age or gender, and the person's name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.

It was unclear if traffic was impacted by the death.
