Man Talked Down From Kaiser Permanente Parking Structure
Anaheim police closed the Kaiser Permanente parking structure after a man threatened to jump from the building.

ANAHEIM, CA — A young man threatened to jump from the Kaiser Permanente parking structure in Anaheim, leading police and firefighters to the area on Wednesday morning, police said. He came down to safety several hours later according to officials.
He kept all police and fire officials "at bay" while atop the building. Anaheim Fire deployed a Rescue Air Cushion in case the man fell or jumped.

At last, the man was brought to safety after 12:45 p.m, according to Anaheim Police Sgt. Daron Wyatt. He was referred for a mental health evaluation, Wyatt said.

Police and fire crews reopened the Orange County Medical Center in the 3400 block of East La Palma Avenue after 1 p.m.
