Pooch Distraction Leads To Home Destruction In Orange
Her small dog in the front seat was a distraction that led to this driver striking two porches in the City of Orange, police say.
A woman lost control of her car and crashed into a home, destroying the patios of two homes in the city of Orange, police said.
The unidentified driver "may have been distracted by her dog jumping around in the front seat of her car," officials said Thursday morning. The pup was described as a 2-year-old Yorkie terrier.
The woman was driving on the 5800 block of Creekside Avenue about 10:10 p.m. Wednesday when she lost control of her vehicle and hit the patios, causing minor damage, according to the Orange Police Department.

A small dog was moving around in the front seat of the vehicle at the time of the crash, police said.
During the incident, the driver also struck a post and bush and narrowly missed a couple vehicles, according to a news photographer at the scene.

No injuries were reported, and the Yorkie survived the crash shaken, but otherwise unscathed.
