A pregnant woman was trapped inside a storm drain in Orange County Tuesday morning, authorities said.
ANAHEIM, CA — Rising waters from another day of steady rain left a pregnant woman trapped inside a storm drain in Orange County Tuesday morning, KTLA reported.
Anaheim police officers were dispatched at around 9:15 a.m. after a woman was reported trapped in a drain that feeds into the Santa Ana River.
Anaheim Police Department Sgt. John McClintock told KTLA that the woman was trapped in the storm drain due to rising water levels.

Their main concerns were the fast-moving water due to the recent rainfall and making sure the woman “didn’t get into the actual river bed and go downstream,” McClintock said.
