Professional Banker Gary Green Joins Radiant Futures Board

Longtime professional banker and volunteer nonprofit leader Gary Green has recently joined the Board of nonprofit Radiant Futures, formerly Women’s Transitional Living Center, Inc. (WTLC).

Green’s career as a professional banker spans nearly 50 years. Currently, he is Executive Vice President Commercial Banking Regional Director at California Bank & Trust.

He worked for Bank of America in its Long Beach Corporate Banking Group in the 1980s before moving to Eldorado Bank in 1989 as Regional Manager of its Tustin headquarters office. In 1998, the bank was sold, and he was promoted to Executive Vice President/Chief Lending Officer. In 2001, when the bank was acquired by California Bank & Trust he stayed as a Senior Vice President/Regional Manager for Orange County. In 2006, he was promoted to Executive Vice President for the Southern California Commercial Banking Region.

Green served as President/Chief Volunteer Officer of the Boys and Girls Club of Tustin from 2001-2002, from 2007-2009, and from 2013 to 2016.

He has served as the Community Chairman of California State University, Fullerton’s Concert Under the Stars event for seven consecutive years. He was Membership Chair of the university’s Mihaylo College of Business & Economics Executive Council. In 2016, he received the university’s Vision & Visionary award. He is a member of the university’s Philanthropy Foundation Board of Governors.

Green graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a bachelor’s degree in finance in 1980 (High Honors) and earned an MBA degree in finance from University of Southern California in 1984. He also received a post graduate degree from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Credit and Financial Management in 1994.

He and his wife Kathleen have three grown children and reside in Tustin.
