Pursuit Driver Plows Into 2 Cars, Killing Bystander In OC: Police
The victim was killed in a three-vehicle crash in Orange County during a police pursuit, authorities said.
ORANGE COUNTY, CA — One person was killed in a three-vehicle crash in Orange County during a police pursuit, with authorities Thursday continuing its investigation into the fatal crash.
Anaheim Police Department officers were conducted a "law enforcement operation" around 7:40 p.m. Wednesday when the pursuit began, APD Sgt. Eric Anderson said.
The suspect high-tailed it to nearby Placentia, with the pursuit ending at Bradford and Madison avenues, where the suspect's vehicle collided with two other vehicles.

The victim — identified only as an "innocent bystander" — was driving one of the vehicles that was hit by the suspect.
They were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

According to Fox 11, the suspect was arrested at the site of the crash and a victim of the crash was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries.
