Pursuit Leaves 1 Dead, 4 Injured After Crash In OC, Police Say

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Police Tuesday are investigating the details surrounding a possible pursuit that left one person dead and at least four injured in a two-vehicle collision in Buena Park.

The crash occurred around 11:55 a.m. Monday and officers from the Buena Park Police Department were called to La Palma and Knott avenues regarding a collision, KABC 7 reported.

One car, a white vehicle, flipped on its side close to a nearby car wash and at least two people were freed from the damaged vehicles by firefighters.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene, KABC reported. The injured victims were taken to a hospital in unknown conditions.

The cause of the collision was unknown.
