Radiant Futures’ Dynamic Duo 5K Run/Walk Fundraiser Returns

Radiant Futures, formerly Women’s Transitional Living Center, invites runners and walkers to make strides in building a safer community by participating in the nonprofit’s 2nd Annual Dynamic Duo 5K Run/Walk Fundraiser.

The certified 5K Run/Walk is set for Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 8 AM until 12 PM in the Fountain Valley Sports Park and scenic Mile Square Regional Park, located at 16400 Brookhurst Street in Fountain Valley. The fee is $38.10 for participants 11 years and older. Children 10 and under are free. Registration is preferred by Friday, January 24, but ends on January 25 at 8:15 AM.

Bibs will be available for pickup at the location on January 24 from 4 to 7 PM.

“We are excited about the return of this annual fundraising and friend-raising event that will help build a safer community by funding crisis support, services for all survivors, and education to prevent domestic violence and trafficking,” said Radiant Future CEO Mark Lee. “We invite everyone to put on their running or walking shoes and join us as we raise awareness about human trafficking in Orange County.”

Every race entry fee directly benefits survivors served by Radiant Futures. All race entries include a medal, finish line photos, finish line video, and access to the post-race expo area. The family friendly event includes refreshments and games.

Costumes are encouraged. Last year’s winners were participants dressed as TV’s Golden Girls.
