Radiant Futures Is First Beneficiary of Anaheim Chamber's Women in Leadership Luncheon

As the first beneficiary of the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce’s Women in Leadership Luncheon, Radiant Futures, formerly Women’s Transitional Living Center, Inc. (WTLC), has received a donation of $3,600.

Held March 13 at JW Marriott, Anaheim Resort, the event’s Diamond level sponsors were Northgate Market, Republic Services, SA Recycling, and Sunwest Bank. Table sponsors were American Business Bank, BMO Bank, and Glorious Motor Cars. A highlight of the event was the auctioning of a spectacular ring with a sapphire surrounded by diamonds that was donated by Anaheim Hills Jewelry & Coin.

At the luncheon, Anita Polite-Wilson, Ph.D., founder and CEO of Dr. Anita Enterprises, Inc., moderated a panel of outstanding women leaders:

Dr. Katarzyna Tesmer, neonatologist and senior partner, CHOC, and owner and medical director of Visage Laser & Skincare Center, is an award-winning aesthetic medicine specialist and board-certified neonatologist with over 37 years of experience.

Scharrell Jackson, speaker, executive coach, author, and founder of the dynamic speaker series Leadership In Heels, has an illustrious career that spans over 25 years and includes a rich legacy in executive leadership across various sectors as a partner, CEO, and CFO.

AmyK Hutchens, speaker, author, consultant, and host of the She Gets It with AmyK podcast, is a catalyst for maximizing brilliance. She’s an international award-winning speaker with over 2,700 presentations; Amazon #1 bestselling author of two books, The Secrets Leaders Keep and Get It!; and has over 24 years of experience training, coaching and consulting.

“We value our partnership with the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce and appreciate the generous donation we received as the inaugural beneficiary of the Women in Leadership Luncheon,” said Radiant Futures Chief Executive Officer Mark Lee.

Radiant Futures offers a range of services in support of all survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking. These include a range of shelter and housing options designed with the interconnected goals of immediate safety and long-term stability. Counseling and holistic services include individual and group sessions for adult and children survivors, including art, animal assisted therapy, and a sensory room.

Radiant Futures also provides legal services in areas such as immigration, divorce, child custody, restraining orders, and victim compensation. From a community engagement perspective, the organization focuses on prevention and addressing the root causes of violence to drive public policy and systems-level change.
