Your dried-out tree should be cut in sections no longer than 5 feet.

For trees over 6 feet tall, please cut them in half and place them on the curb on your regular collection day.

Be sure to have removed all lights, ornaments, and the tree stand before placing them at the curbside. Flocked trees are not compostable.

The Christmas tree pickup is part of the regular trash service and is not part of the bulk item service.

Verify service in your area by visiting CR&R, Republic Services or Waste Management OC to determine the Christmas tree pickup schedule for your area.
