Score Free Guac On National Avocado Day 2021 In Orange County
The only thing better than guacamole is free guacamole, right?
ORANGE COUNTY, CA — National Avocado Day falls annually on July 31 — this year on a Saturday. And to mark the date celebrating the lumpy, bumpy "alligator pear," two area chains are offering deals throughout Orange County.
Rubio's is giving away free chips and guacamole with any purchase Saturday, while El Pollo Loco is running a promotional contest, the "Guac Pass," to reward diners with free chips and guacamole throughout August.
For El Pollo Loco's offer, a partnership with Avocados From Mexico, all Loco Rewards members, who make a purchase between July 26-31, will be entered to win a Guac Pass, good for one small order of chips and guac any day in August. Customers also can win by commenting on El Pollo Loco’s National Avocado Day Instagram post.
