Secret Service Agent Robbed At Gunpoint During Biden SoCal Visit
The U.S. Secret Service agent discharged his gun during the theft, but the suspect managed to get away, police said.

TUSTIN, CA — A U.S. Secret Service agent was robbed at gunpoint in Orange County over the weekend during President Joe Biden's visit to California, police said.
The unnamed agent, who was off-duty at the time of the theft, had his bag stolen Saturday night at about 9:30 p.m. in Tustin, the Tustin Police Department said.
The agent fired his weapon during the incident, authorities said, but the suspect fled the scene. Police said it was not immediately known if any suspects were injured in the shooting.

"Officers have located some of the victim's belongings in the area and the incident is still being investigated. There is no known threat to the public," according to a Tustin Police Department press release.
Tustin police are searching for a model 2004-2006 silver Infiniti FX35 and released an image of the suspect's vehicle Monday.
