ORANGE COUNTY, CA -- Santa Ana police arrested a motorist who allegedly fled from police in a stolen vehicle that crashed into a house in Garden Grove early Thursday morning.
The incident began about 2 a.m. when officers tried to pull over the vehicle for a possible traffic violation but the driver kept going, according to Santa Ana police spokesman Anthony Bertagna.
The officers lost the vehicle for a time, but then learned that it had crashed into a residence in the 10400 block of Hazard Avenue, Bertagna said. Officers searched the area and took the driver and a passenger into custody.
