Student Injured In Fight At Tustin High School Tuesday
A Tustin High School student is currently recovering at a local hospital and another student was taken into custody, Tustin police said.

TUSTIN, CA — A Tustin High School student was stabbed in a fight Tuesday on campus and taken to a local hospital, authorities said.
The fight between two students occurred about 12:15 p.m. on the campus at 1171 El Camino Real, according to Tustin police Lt. Andy Birozy.
One of the boys was taken to a hospital, and the other boy was taken into custody, Birozy said. Officials did not release their ages or names because they are minors, he added.

When officers responded to the fight, school staff had detained one of the students, police said.
School officials had students shelter in place, and once the fight was over students were released for the day, police said.

As of Tuesday night, Tustin Police spokesperson Lt. Ryan Coe told the Orange County Register that the wounded student was reported to be stable with non-life-threatening injuries.
