Students at Heritage Oak Private Education Celebrate Earth Day

During the week of April 17, students at Heritage Oak Private Education in Yorba Linda participated in a variety of daily, school-wide environmental challenges in honor of Earth Day. Challenges included bringing reusable water bottles to school, not using plastic straws and going completely digital for a day.They also learned about conservation and the importance of recycling. Through these challenges and related lessons, students learned the role that they can play in protecting the environment. Heritage Oak teaches the importance of community and exploring nature at an early age.
