Suspected Carjacking Ends In Crash, Arrest In North OC
Two OCSD deputies and two women were injured in a crash after Orange County Sheriff's attempted to stop a carjacking late Thursday.

ANAHEIM, CA — Two cars collided in Anaheim late Wednesday night in Stanton during a carjacking investigation, an Orange County Sheriff's Department spokesperson said. An OCSD squad car collided with another vehicle in a crash that sent two deputies and two women to the hospital, according to Carrie Braun of the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies were responding to a reported carjacking in Stanton around 11:45 p.m. when their patrol vehicle was struck by another vehicle at the intersection of Orange and Western Avenues in Anaheim, Braun said.
The deputies were going westbound on Orange Avenue and the women in the other vehicle were southbound on Western Avenue when the accident occurred, she said.

"All of the parties involved escaped any serious injury," an OCSD Stanton spokesperson said. "We also took our suspect into custody with assistance from Anaheim Police."
Anaheim police are investigating the collision.
