Thieves Tunnel Through Wall, Steal $180K Worth Of Pokémon Cards In OC: Report
Surveillance footage captured the incident in Orange County this week.
ANAHEIM, CA — A brazen overnight burglary in Anaheim where thieves broke into a neighboring business, tunneled through a wall and stole around $180,000 worth of Pokémon cards, KTLA reported.
The break-in happened at around 3 a.m. Tuesday morning at DOWE collectibles in the 1100 block of North Harbor Boulevard, where four suspects apparently forced their way into a nearby insurance office before smashing through a shared drywall with a sledgehammer to access the business next door, the report said.
Store owner Duy Pham told KTLA that he was asleep at home in Corona when his phone alerted him to the break-in.
