Three Lanes On 405 Freeway Shut Down After Two Car Crash
Northbound traffic on the freeway slowed considerably after two vehicles crashed on the freeway in Irvine.
ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Afternoon traffic on the California State route 405 north was stalled considerably Monday after a two vehicle crash shut down three lanes on the freeway, the California Highway Patrol reported. At least one person was injured, the CHP said.
The crash occurred on the 405 freeway near Red Hill Avenue in Irvine, authorities said. A SigAlert was issued after the CHP responded to the incident at 1:21 p.m. The SigAlert will remain in place for an hour, the CHP said.
The status of the injured person is not currently known.
