Toddler Struck, Killed Near Yorba Linda Home
The two-year-old boy was killed in a Yorba Linda driveway, Orange County Sheriff's Department said.

YORBA LINDA, CA- A pickup truck backing out of a home in Yorba Linda struck and killed a tw0-year-old boy, police say. On Thursday were investigating the circumstances that led to the toddler's death.
The incident occurred at about 4:50 p.m. Wednesday in the 4000 block of Casa Oro Drive, the day after Christmas, according to Orange County Sheriff's Department Public Information Manager Carrie Braun.
The child was struck in the cul de sac near his home, and pronounced dead at a nearby hospital, Braun said.

The driver of the pickup remained at the scene.
"Our Major Accident Reconstruction Team is conducting their investigation and talking with the subject," sheriff's Lt. Cory Martino told NBC4. "We do not know if impairment was a factor in this incident."
