Traffic Stalls For Miles After 4 Car Crash Reported On 5 Freeway

The crash was reported at 8:26 a.m. Tuesday and resulted in slow-moving traffic on the freeway for at least seven miles.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — At least one person was injured in a four-car crash on the State route 5 freeway traveling north Tuesday morning, the California Highway Patrol said.

The crash blocked several lanes on the freeway during peak morning traffic and caused a drastic slow-down for at least seven miles near the State route 55 junction heading south in Tustin, CHP reports said.

The status of the injured person is not known.
