Traffic Stop Leads To $8.4 Million Drug Bust
A traffic stop in Orange County led to police to a cocaine stash house with a mountain of cocaine valued at $8.4 million.
SANTA ANA, CA — Police pulled over two men on the 60 Freeway Thursday night and allegedly found a "substantial" amount of drugs in their car. They found even more at the suspects' house, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
The stop led to a house where a the men allegedly stashed 140 kilograms of cocaine with a street value of about $8.4 million, sheriff's officials said.
Now both men, a 24-year-old and a a 38-year-old are behind bars.

Authorities would not release the names of the suspects because they are involved in a broader investigation and the release of their names could hinder that, said Jaimee Blashaw, a spokeswoman for the sheriff's department.
