Transformed Knott's Berry Farm Hotel Debuts Fall 2023

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Knott's Berry Farm Hotel unveiled a multi-million renovation to be debuting this fall with a new name and refined look, hotel officials announced.

Situated just steps away from SoCal theme park Knott's Berry Farm, the new Knott's Hotel will offer an elevated getaway for both business and leisure travelers when it reopens this fall, hotel officials said.

The new hotel also pays homage to the park's founders, Walter and Cordelia Knott, and promises to serve an "entirely new expression of the ingenuity and hospitality for which the Knott family has always been known."

The hotel's redesigned 322 guest rooms will offer a country guest house feel, and each room will have undergone a farmhouse style transformation by the time the hotel reopens this fall.

The room renovations also include updated family-sized rooms with ample space for up to six guests and extra amenities, such as kitchenette.

Guests can also look forward to 20,000 square-feet of flexible event venue space, transformed public spaces, as well as a newly conceived restaurant and bar.

"The renovation is a transformative endeavor for our property and reflects our commitment to offering the current spaces, amenities and services that locals, visitors and guests are looking for," Don Prescott, the hotel's general manager, said in a statement. "Our goal is to create a truly immersive, eclectic environment that makes guests feel at home while showcasing the uniqueness that can only be found at Knott’s."

The new Knott's Hotel will also unveil a craftsman-designed outdoor courtyard with rustic timber-frame structure, adobe brickwork and Mexican artisan tile.

On the menu, Knott's Hotel will debut brand-new dining concept: Thirty Acres Kitchen and Bar. According to hotel officials, the name is a nod to the original 30 acres of the Knott's farm and will offer a double-sided, wraparound bar that extends into the hotel's lobby.

Guests can enjoy locally-inspired craft cocktails and small plates at the bar, or a complete dinner at the full-service restaurant, which will offer a seasonal menu with distinct twists on traditional American cuisine.
