Tricycle Riding Toddler Pedals Into Afternoon Traffic
A toddler on a tricycle is an adorable sight, but a dashcam video shows how close this child was to being seriously injured or killed.
SANTA ANA, CA — A tricycle riding toddler was blissfully unaware of the danger earlier this week when he rode into a busy street in Santa Ana, according to reports. A driver heading the opposite way noticed the tricycle and slowed into the left hand turn lane, according to a report from Fox11LA. What Sarah Tran did next may have saved the child's life.
On Monday at approximately 5:30 p.m., Tran --the good Samaritan who caught the story on her dashcam--was near the intersection of S. Kilson and Edinger Avenues when she saw the child. She then exited her vehicle and rescued the tot before disaster struck, Fox11 reported.

Though the parents have not come forward, officials relayed to Fox11 that they were not in trouble for the incident, however only wanted others to know about the dangers of watching your children near busy streets.
It is unclear where the parents were during the incident.
