Kona (#A1947404) is a 10-year-old German Shepherd at OC Animal Care in Tustin, and he has a confirmed euthanasia deadline of June 20.
This sweet senior was found wandering a shopping center parking lot back in January. No one ever came for him.

Despite everything, Kona remains a gentle, loving dog. He is easy to leash and walk, appears potty trained, knows basic commands, loves toys and tennis balls, and will happily follow you around hoping for a treat. Volunteers describe him as a favorite and are heartbroken that he may not make it out alive.
Kona has medical issues that need follow-up care, including chronic hip problems and a severe lick granuloma on his paw. Because of these medical needs, he urgently needs a rescue, adopter, or committed foster.
