Video: Baby Tumbles Out Of Moving SUV At Busy OC Intersection
A mother was arrested on suspicion of child abuse after her 19-month-old baby tumbled out of an SUV while driving in an intersection.
ORANGE COUNTY, CA — A mother was arrested on suspicion of child abuse after her 19-month-old baby tumbled out of an SUV she was driving in Fullerton.
La Habra resident Jacqueline Marie Hernandez, 35, was booked into the Orange County Jail Sunday, jail records show.
Video of the incident was posted to social media showing the child tumbling from the passenger side of a vehicle at North Euclid Street and West Malvern Avenue in the City of Fullerton, according to police.

The SUV's driver was turning east onto West Malvern from Southbound Euclid when the passenger front door opens and the baby falls out, police said.

The driver behind the wheel of the SUV, later identified as Hernandez, immediately brakes and gets out to retrieve the child before driving away.
According to police, Hernandez was arrested after a witness came forward to report her to police Saturday.
The child, who was not identified, was expected to fully recover.
