Viral Video Shows Attack On CHP Officer As Good Samaritans Rush To Aid In Orange County
The three good samaritans left their vehicles to help a California Highway Patrol officer who was being attacked on the side of the freeway.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Now-viral cellphone footage captured the moment when three good samaritans jumped out of their vehicles to come to the aid of a California Highway Patrol officer who was being attacked by a man on the side of a freeway onramp, KTLA reported.
The video was filmed on May 19 at around 5 p.m., at the Main Street northbound entrance to the 5 Freeway in Santa Ana.
According to reports, CHP officers were called to the area after receiving reports of a man screaming at drivers and trying to take down signage on the freeway. When an officer responded, the man suddenly attacked.
