Woman Dies Running Across I-5 Freeway In Anaheim
A woman jumped the center median and was struck and killed crossing the Orange County I-5 freeway, CHP reported.
ANAHEIM, CA — A woman left her vehicle after being involved in a two-car crash Monday evening, then was fatally struck by a passing motorist, California Highway Patrol reported.
On Monday night, the woman became involved in a collision on Southbound I-5 near Euclid Street in Anaheim, CHP said. According to reports, she left her vehicle, jumped a center median, and was struck and killed running across the Northbound lanes of traffic.
She was pronounced dead at the scene, and her name has been withheld pending notification of next of kin, officials said.

Only one lane of traffic was open on the Northbound 5 until 9 a.m. Tuesday morning, according to reports from the scene.
