Woman Stabbed To Death In Garden Grove, Suspect Arrested

GARDEN GROVE, CA —A woman was stabbed to death in a motel room in Garden Grove Wednesday, and one man has been arrested on suspicion of the crime.

Garden Grove Police Department officers responded at about 5:45 a.m. to the Motel 6 in the 12000 block of Trask Avenue, near the Garden Grove (22) Freeway and Harbor Boulevard, on reports of a domestic disturbance, according to a department statement.

Arriving officers found the woman suffering from multiple stab wounds in a motel room and attempted to provide "life-saving measures," but she died at the scene.

Her name was not immediately released.

The man was detained at the scene and later arrested for the stabbing, police said.

An investigation into the stabbing was ongoing and anyone with information was asked to call GGPD Detective T. Ramirez at 714-741-5810.
