• Lost pet ball python survives months in California sewer, surfaces in neighbor's toilet (thecooldown.com) — An Orangevale resident came home to find a three-foot ball python unexpectedly emerging from her toilet, sparking a neighborhood mystery about where it came from. After local TV coverage, a nearby property owner recognized it as a long-missing pet that had vanished into a sewer line months earlier. The snake appears healthy, and the Orangevale woman is now considering adopting it herself.
