SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Police said they arrested two men Wednesday following a violent robbery that occurred last month.
At around 5:50 p.m., on April 24, two victims were robbed at gunpoint in a parking lot on the 300 block of B Street, and one victim suffered minor injuries after being hit with a handgun during the encounter, police said.
Following an investigation, detectives identified the suspects Samuel Nathan Folau, an 18-year-old from Daly City, and a 17-year-old from San Bruno.
On Wednesday, officers from several local agencies said they searched the suspects' homes and took both into custody. Investigators said they also recovered evidence related to the robbery during the searches.
Folau was booked into the San Mateo County Jail, while the 17-year-old was sent to the Hillcrest Juvenile Detention Facility, police said.
Both face charges of armed robbery, conspiracy and assault, officials said.
