DALY CITY, CA — A stovetop fire damaged multiple apartments in Daly City on Friday morning, fire officials said.
Firefighters responded around 7:30 a.m. to an apartment building on Price Street after smoke was seen coming from a second-floor unit, according to the North County Fire Authority.
The fire had been extinguished before crews entered, but officials said it caused fire damage to the kitchen and the apartment above, along with smoke damage throughout the unit.
No injuries were reported.
Firefighters rescued two dogs, and the American Red Cross is assisting four displaced residents.
