• Update: Aug. 26 - 2.3 magnitude earthquake registered near Pacifica, CA (fresnobee.com) — A small 2.3 magnitude earthquake shook just southeast of Pacifica on Wednesday evening, with the epicenter about a mile from town and 6 miles deep. While quakes this size are rarely damaging, officials urge residents to review basic safety steps like drop, cover, and hold on, and to file a USGS "Did You Feel It?" report if they noticed the shaking.
